Lava Blush / upcycle recipe
Order a makeover for your favorite but stained or washed-out item. Let it be reborn with one of Brinas Studio’s signature in-studio-developed recipes. This recipe is especially suited to cover coffee, tea, and all other brownish stains.
Colors
The soft pink base is made from madder and avocado pigments and ranges from peach to pink depending on the material and dye lot. It is complemented by the groundedness of the iron’s brown-bronze winding-twisting pattern and splashes of wild dark violet.
Every piece is hand-dyed and unique.

How it works
search through your closet to find a stained, faded, or forgotten piece(s)
find your item (or more of them) on the list above, select it, and make an online purchase (the price of dyeing service depends on the weight of your item)
send the item(s) to our studio address: Brinas Studio, Mariborska cesta 1, 2360 Radlje ob Dravi, Slovenia (use a shipping option with tracking, we cannot for undelivered packages)
make sure you put your desired delivery address on the package (or in the package if it’s different than the address you’re sending the package from)
wait for natural dyeing magic to happen and wear your reborn pieces with love
What can you send in
Natural colors can only dye natural fiber. Your selected piece(s) needs to be:
made of at least 70% of natural fiber (cotton, linen, viscose…)
white or light-colored base
NOT SUITABLE: pieces made of wool or silk (they require a different fabric prep process), synthetic clothing, socks and underwear (for hygienic reasons), pieces with sharp objects or very delicate items
there is no need to wash your item before sending it in unless it’s stinky and very dirty
You can send in any brand of clothing, not only Mila.Vert pieces
AT YOUR OWN RISK you can send in pieces with prints and logos. The first step of natural dyeing is fabric cleaning - slowly heating up to 70 degrees Celsius and we cannot guarantee what will happen to the print

Important notes
A few things you need to know!
Upcycled pieces are custom-dyed and cannot be refunded, redone, or returned.
The base color of your piece and its material will define the final colors.
Every piece is hand-dyed and absolutely unique. Your piece will turn out similar, but differently than the ones in the pictures.
You need to make sure that your pieces are made of at least 70% of natural fiber.
